Karen, the shop owner, is a born crafter. She began sewing Barbie clothes on a plastic sewing machine as a child and went on to sew her own clothes. She's also into scrapbooking, stamping , gardening, and cross stitch. Karen was introduced to crochet by her mother-in-law, and she has taken this skill and turned it into an art. As a stay at home mom with three small children, Karen loves the opportunity to own her own business and sell her fiber creations, and she hopes to go back to school to study fibers.

Karen is very open to shipping international orders, just send her an Etsy convo and she will work up the shipping details. You may also ask for a custom order at Ball of Yarn--Karen is happy to work with you to create a special item just for you.
